This is more than a photo session; it is time set aside to be together as a family in the beauty of St. Augustine.

A session with me is an experience; a chance to slow down, be present with each other, and step out of the pace of everyday life for a little while.

It is my goal for every family member to feel relaxed, have fun and be themselves in front of the lens because that is where the real moments live, and where the beauty of your family will naturally shine through.

No two families move or connect in the same way, and that is exactly the point. Your story is not meant to look like anyone else’s.

Beautiful Locations for Family Photos in St. Augustine

Family sessions can take place in several beautiful locations around St. Augustine and the surrounding beaches. Each location offers a slightly different look, from coastal dunes to historic charm. When we plan your session, I’ll help you choose the location that best fits your family and the look you love. These are just a few of my favorite locations for family photography:

Family Session Faqs

The wardrobe is an essential part of having polished-looking portraits and I am here to help you with that. I provide wardrobe assistance for each session. This includes a wardrobe guide with the do’s and dont’s to styling your session. I also provide my clients with exclusive access to Style & Select, which is an online database run by photographers. You can shop for and coordinate your entire family’s wardrobe with ease through this site. I also have a client closet with dresses available on loan to moms. I am always available as a sounding board to provide input to help you finalize your choices.
I have children and I get this, but do not stress. My sessions are active and I use lots of prompts. I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to engage children. Just focus on staying in the moment and embracing the beauty of this stage in parenting. I promise you will love the images.
All packages listed are for immediate family members only. If you wish to include extended family members, please contact me for the pricing. Your session will require extra session time and editing time, which is why there is an additional fee.
As these are not fully processed or artistically enhanced images, I do not release Raw and unedited images. The final gallery contains the best images from your collection.
I hand edit each and very image form your gallery. I begin with color correction and then enhancement of light, sky and other details. I then edit every individual photo in Photoshop where I make further artistic enhancements and I also smooth skin, brighten eyes and remove stray hairs.

Both sunrise and sunset can be beautiful times for family photos, but they offer very different experiences — especially here in Florida.
Sunset sessions have warm, golden light, but they also come with more unpredictability during certain times of year. In the spring and summer months, afternoon heat and pop-up thunderstorms are common, which can lead to last-minute weather changes. Beaches and popular locations also tend to be busier in the evenings, which can add extra distractions.
Sunrise sessions are often a favorite, particularly during Florida’s warmer seasons. The light is soft and even, temperatures are cooler, and the weather is typically more stable earlier in the day. Locations are quiet and peaceful, kids are usually well-rested, and the overall experience feels slower and more relaxed.
If you’re hoping for a calm, unhurried session — or want to minimize weather concerns during storm season — sunrise is often the best option. I’m always happy to talk through timing and help you choose what will work best for your family.
Rain is always a possibility in North. astern Florida. I leave room in my calendar for the possibility of rain. If it rains, we will reschedule your St Augustine portrait session to the next available date. I do not reschedule due to cloudy weather. In fact, cloudy days provide perfect lighting for sessions.
You are not obligated to print through me, but I highly recommend using a reputable printer. I set the printing cost low to encourage clients to print through the professional lab. I can’t guarantee the quality of prints printed through an outside lab, as I am not calibrated nor affiliated with those labs. I also offer custom albums and print packages. Just message me for more info.
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 2 weeks after your session time. You can download your photos from the gallery. The gallery allows you to share with family and also provides you with access to professional printing services.
Mini sessions are offered during the Fall for the holidays and typically involve sets, props and most of my locations require permits and time limitations, thus limiting my flexibility.
These sessions are 15-20 minutes in length and are appointment-based. Multiple families are photographed each day. I make every effort to capture your child in the allotted time, but, for mini sessions, I am forced to work within the constraints of your appointment time.
Although I don’t offer mini sessions throughout the remainder of the year, I often run promotions for regular sessions that are posted through my newsletter . Those spots tend to book up quickly. Message me if you would like to be added to either of those groups.
Your gallery will remain active for 60 days and I archive images for 90 days as a courtesy. Please download and backup your images.

Although your St Augustine family session fee includes a full gallery of digital images, you’ll also have access to a professional print lab where you can order heirloom-quality prints and artwork directly from your gallery.

From framed wall art to albums and fine art prints, everything is carefully produced to last for generations. If you’d like guidance choosing sizes, layouts, or products, I’m always happy to help — either through email or a quick consult.

Nothing is required to purchase. This option simply gives you an easy way to turn your images into tangible pieces for your home.

Travel and/or location permit fees, if required, are not included and will be added to your final invoice.

That’s completely normal. St Augustine extended family sessions are planned with extra time built in to allow for flexibility, transitions, and breaks when needed.
Weather-related reschedules are complimentary. If conditions aren’t ideal, we’ll move your session to the next available date.
Yes. You’ll receive wardrobe and styling guidance for the entire group, including color palettes and outfit suggestions, so everything feels cohesive without being overly matched.
Yes. While you are welcome to print your images anywhere, professional printing is available through your gallery for clients who prefer a guided, high-quality option.
