I’m Teresa, a Jacksonville newborn photographer with over 13 years of experience working with babies and families. As a mom to two teen girls, I understand just how quickly this season passes — and how tender these early days feel.
My approach to newborn sessions is calm, patient, and unhurried. With years of hands-on experience, I guide each session gently, creating images that preserve this moment in a way that feels natural, meaningful, and true to your family.

Nothing is required to purchase. This option simply gives you an easy way to turn your images into tangible pieces for your home.

The wardrobe is an essential part of having polished-looking portraits and I am here to help you with that. I provide wardrobe assistance for each session. This includes a wardrobe guide with the do’s and dont’s to styling your session. I also provide my clients with exclusive access to Style & Select, which is an online database run by photographers. You can shop for and coordinate your entire family’s wardrobe with ease through this site. I also have a client closet with dresses available on loan to moms. I am always available as a sounding board to provide input to help you finalize your choices.

I have children and I get this, but do not stress. My sessions are active and I use lots of prompts. I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to engage children. Just focus on staying in the moment and embracing the beauty of this stage in parenting. I promise you will love the images.

Absolutely! I love fur babies and am happy to incorporate them into the session. Because my images are interactive, many times pets will naturally be included in the photos.

While I don’t use props, I am always happy to incorporate personal items into your session. Sometimes these are heirloom items, custom blankets or outfits, welcome signs and more. I love to find creative ways to incorporate these things into sessions.

Newborn sessions tend to work best with immediate family members. If you wish to include grandparents, please contact me for the pricing. Your session will require extra session time and editing time, which is why there is an additional fee.

As these are not fully processed or artistically enhanced images, I do not release Raw and unedited images. The final gallery contains the best images from your collection.

I hand edit each and very image form your gallery. I begin with color correction and then enhancement of light, sky and other details. I then edit every individual photo in Photoshop where I make further artistic enhancements and I also smooth skin, brighten eyes and remove stray hairs.

I always ask to see images of your home ahead of time. This will help me assess which rooms will work best. I can also bring along an extra flash if needed. I have only used a flash twice in all of my years of photographing newborns.

Please do not stress about the baby. You are welcome to take breaks throughout the session to change and feed the baby. I will be clicking away during these moments. The goal is to capture the authenticity of these first few days home with your little one. So, feel free to snuggle up and don’t worry about taking breaks.

I do not use props for newborn sessions. My goal is to focus on the family and natural connection within your family. With that being said, I do capture posed portraits of the baby. I do so using the natural environment of your home.

Absolutely not! What you do need is a little bit of natural light. Over the last 13 years, I have photographed in many different homes. Prior to your Jacksonville in home newborn session, you will send me images of your home and that will help me to plan your session and determine the best rooms in which we should capture your photos. It is all based on the areas in which you have the best natural light. Most of the time I capture images in the master bedroom, living room and nursery, but it varies for each client.

You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 2 weeks after your session time. You can download your photos from the gallery. The gallery allows you to share with family and also provides you with access to professional printing services.

Yes. Because I feel that the maternity session is so important to schedule, I offer a discounted maternity session to all of my newborn clients. My newborn clients also receive a special discount on family photos first birthday sessions if scheduled within a year of the newborn session.

You are not obligated to print through me, but I highly recommend using a reputable printer. I set the printing cost low to encourage clients to print through the professional lab. I can’t guarantee the quality of prints printed through an outside lab, as I am not calibrated nor affiliated with those labs. I also offer custom albums and print packages. Just message me for more info.

Your gallery will remain active for 60 days and I archive images for 90 days as a courtesy. Please download and backup your images.
