You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need the “perfect” dress. You don’t need to feel like a model.

Before your session, I’ll help you choose wardrobe pieces that flatter and feel natural. During your session, I’ll guide you in simple, comfortable ways that highlight your shape without feeling overly posed or exposed.

The goal isn’t to create something dramatic. It’s to create photographs that feel honest, confident, and true to you…right before everything changes… for the better.

Meet teresa

I’m Teresa, a Jacksonville maternity photographer with over 13 years of experience working with newborns, children and families. As a mom to two teen girls, I understand just how quickly this season passes and how tender these early days feel.

My maternity sessions are centered on posing you in the most flattering poses and light and making you feel comfortable and at ease so I can capture images that showcase your glowing maternal beauty and power.

Preserving Your Images Beyond the Screen

Although your Jacksonville maternity session includes a full gallery of digital images, you’ll also have access to a professional print lab where you can order heirloom-quality prints and artwork directly from your gallery.

From framed wall art to albums and fine art prints, everything is carefully produced to last for generations. If you’d like guidance choosing sizes, layouts, or products, I’m always happy to help — either through email or a quick consult.

Nothing is required to purchase. This option simply gives you an easy way to turn your images into tangible pieces for your home.

The key here is to feel comfortable and confident. I prefer dresses that accentuate the baby bump and have some flow to them. I provide a wardrobe guide, access to Style & Select and I will help to style you and your family for the session.
Absolutely! I prefer when partners/spouses participate, I will capture plenty of posed portraits of you with your baby bump, but I also want to capture how special this time is for you as a couple.
Yess…in fact, I insist! This is such a special time for your family and you definitely want your children to be included. I structure the session much like a family session, but I spend some time getting posed maternity portraits of you too. A family session will always tell the story of your family at this given moment of time, so the emphasis of the session will be on you and your expanding family.
I recommend scheduling between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy. During this time, you will have a lovely belly shape while still feeling comfortable and able to move with ease.
Maternity sessions tend to work best with immediate family members. If you wish to include grandparents, please contact me for the pricing. Your session will require extra session time and editing time, which is why there is an additional fee.
As these are not fully processed or artistically enhanced images, I do not release Raw and unedited images. The final gallery contains the best images from your collection.
I hand edit each and very image form your gallery. I begin with color correction and then enhancement of light, sky and other details. I then edit every individual photo in Photoshop where I make further artistic enhancements and I also smooth skin, brighten eyes and remove stray hairs.

I had two children, so I completely get it. I know it can feel uncomfortable and you don’t always feel your best. Even thou pregnant woman are stunning, often times they don’t feel that way. I promise I will make it comfortable and I will capture images of you in flattering angles. I am also help to style you in a way that accentuates your beauty. As a mother to two children, I can tell you that you will regret not having photos of this special time I life.
This is where we can really get creative. I love the idea of outdoor Jacksonville maternity pictures in a golden field or beach. At the same time, an in home maternity session can be really intimate and personal. Prior to your session, you will complete a questionnaire and it will help me to suggest a location to you.
Yes. Because I feel that the maternity session is so important to schedule, I offer a discounted maternity session to all of my newborn clients. My newborn clients also receive a special discount on family photos first birthday sessions if scheduled within a year of the newborn session.
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 2 weeks after your session time. You can download your photos from the gallery. The gallery allows you to share with family and also provides you with access to professional printing services.
You are not obligated to print through me, but I highly recommend using a reputable printer. I set the printing cost low to encourage clients to print through the professional lab. I can’t guarantee the quality of prints printed through an outside lab, as I am not calibrated nor affiliated with those labs. I also offer custom albums and print packages. Just message me for more info.
Your gallery will remain active for 60 days and I archive images for 90 days as a courtesy. Please download and backup your images.
