Maternity sessions take place at golden hour in a location that feels meaningful to you or in the comfort of your home. I recommend scheduling between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy. During this time, you will have a lovely belly shape while still feeling comfortable and able to move with ease.
My approach is laid back and centered on connection. Before your session, we will chat so you feel completely at ease and prepared. By the time we meet, it will feel like spending time with a friend who happens to have a camera in hand. During your session, I will gently guide you with prompts that spark natural interactions, and your only job will be to enjoy the moment and love on each other. You will never be asked to smile stiffly at the camera. Instead, we will focus on genuine connection and the emotion of this chapter in your life.

The key here is to feel comfortable and confident. I prefer dresses that accentuate the baby bump and have some flow to them. I have a client closet with women’s dresses available on loan and I will also help to style you and your family for the session.

Absolutely! I prefer when partners/spouses participate, I will capture plenty of posed portraits of you with your baby bump, but I also want to capture how special this time is for you as a couple.

Yess…in fact, I insist! This is such a special time for your family and you definitely want your children to be included. I structure the session much like a family session, but I spend some time getting posed maternity portraits of you too. A family session will always tell the story of your family at this given moment of time, so the emphasis of the session will be on you and your expanding family.

Maternity sessions tend to work best with immediate family members. If you wish to include grandparents, please contact me for the pricing. Your session will require extra session time and editing time, which is why there is an additional fee.

As these are not fully processed or artistically enhanced images, I do not release Raw and unedited images. The final gallery contains the best images from your collection.

I hand edit each and very image form your gallery. I begin with color correction and then enhancement of light, sky and other details. I then edit every individual photo in Photoshop where I make further artistic enhancements and I also smooth skin, brighten eyes and remove stray hairs.

I had two children, so I completely get it. I know it can feel uncomfortable and you don’t always feel your best. Even thou pregnant woman are stunning, often times they don’t feel that way. I promise I will make it comfortable and I will capture images of you in flattering angles. I am also help to style you in a way that accentuates your beauty. As a mother to two children, I can tell you that you will regret not having photos of this special time I life.

This is where we can really get creative. I love the idea of an outdoor photo session in a golden field or beach. At the same time, an in home maternity session can be really intimate and personal. Prior to your session, you will complete a questionnaire and it will help me to suggest a location to you.

Yes. Because I feel that the maternity session is so important to schedule, I offer a discounted maternity session to all of my newborn clients. My newborn clients also receive a special discount on family photos first birthday sessions if scheduled within a year of the newborn session.

You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 2 weeks after your session time. You can download your photos from the gallery. The gallery allows you to share with family and also provides you with access to professional printing services.

You are not obligated to print through me, but I highly recommend using a reputable printer. I set the printing cost low to encourage clients to print through the professional lab. I can’t guarantee the quality of prints printed through an outside lab, as I am not calibrated nor affiliated with those labs. I also offer custom albums and print packages. Just message me for more info.

Your gallery will remain active for 60 days and I archive images for 90 days as a courtesy. Please download and backup your images.
The process
Step 01
After booking, you complete a questionnaire that helps me to get to know your family and your goals for the session. Getting to know you and your family is what helps me to capture intimate and relaxed images.
Step 02
What you wear will impact the mood and vibe of your images. I help you to curate and plan your wardrobe. I have a client closet with women’s dresses available and I can send over a custom wardrobe board for your family. The wardrobe planning process takes some time, but it is all worth it in the end.
Step 03
Sessions are scheduled with at sunrise or one hour prior to sunset. We will meet at the location and have some fun for about an hour or so. Expect to laugh, cuddle, play and unwind. I will capture lots of memories for you and your family.
Step 04
I edit your gallery of images. This is where the magic begins. I carefully and artistically enhance each and every image in your gallery. This includes color correction, light enhancements, skin retouching, removal of stray hairs and more. I want your gallery to be a masterpiece and I take my time on the images. Editing a full gallery can take me anywhere from 12-16 hours.
Step 05
In 1-2 weeks, you receive your proofing gallery of edited images. You will choose your images and then they are delivered via full resolution download. At this time, you can add more images to your package if you wish. You are also able to share the gallery with friends and family.

PLANNING SERVICES &Wardrobe Services
Prior to your session, you fill out a questionnaire that helps me learn about your family and goals. I select a location best for your needs and vision. I also help you to curate and plan your wardrobe for your entire family. It starts with a custom wardrobe board and then I am with you every step of the way fine tuning the wardrobe with more specific links and suggestions until we get it right.
Access to My client Closet
I have a client closet with women’s dresses available to you. They come in a variety of sizes and have been selected because the colors, fit and fabrics photograph beautifully. I add to the closet throughout the year.

Session Time
I will meet with you at the selected location and we will be together for 30-90 minutes, depending on the type of session you choose.
Artistic editing & Enhancment
I take my time with the editing process because I believe your gallery should be a masterpiece. I hand edit each and every image in your gallery. I color correct, enhance light, smooth skin and include other artistic enhancements. I remove stray hairs, brighten eyes, clean blemishes and other corrections too.
Full Resolution Images
Your images are delivered in a private proofing gallery. You will select your images and then those selected images are delivered via high resolution download. You have the opportunity to upgrade to your full gallery and purchase prints and products if you wish. I deliver most galleries within two weeks, but more often within a week. Preview are posted within a few days of your session time.
Maternity Investment— starts at $400
We’ll spend up to 60 minutes at an outdoor location, in your home or another comfortable setting. This session can be solo or include spouse/partner and children. The focus of this session is to capture the beauty of pregnancy and the natural connection within your family. I’ll guide you into relaxed, flattering positions while allowing space for genuine moments to unfold.
