This experience is built around preparation. We talk through the idea together, then meet at the location to walk through it so nothing feels uncertain when it actually happens.

Session investment — $850

Optional add-ons include champagne toast setup, proposal props and styling, and permit assistance for select locations. A travel fee may apply for locations more than 30 minutes from Ponte Vedra — always discussed and agreed upon before booking.

St Augustine offers a variety of beautiful settings for family photos from coastal beaches to quiet parks and riverside views. Locations include:

Faqs

I am pretty skilled at blending in with the crowd and will either bring an assistant or some other props to blend in. I have also been known to hide in bushes and other locations to avoid being seen. I am a natural light photographer, so the only equipment I bring is my camera and a backup camera. My camera will not be visible until you begin the proposal process.
Don't worry! I keep it very casual, laid back and fun. I am not into rigid and static poses. Instead, you can expect to just hang with your partner and bask in the excitement and thrill of the moment. My clients always tell me they feel completely at ease during a session with me, so I will make sure you are too!
My base package is for sessions within 45 minutes of my home. Additional fees apply for travel time, for locations that require a permit and if you request any props or add ons to your package.
I always suggest a location that is least suspicious and allows for some privacy. The best location varies for each couple. I will get to know you as a couple and what your goals are for the session and I will work with you to choose the best possible location for this very special moment. Location scouting is super fun to me and I love this part of the planning process.

The pre-meeting consult is an important step in the planning process for a St Augustine proposal. Most of my past clients tell me that meeting with me prior to the proposal helped to put them at ease. This is when we come up with a concrete and solid proof plan for the proposal. I want you to be 10000% confident in my ability to capture this moment for you and I want you to feel relaxed and at ease on the day of the proposal. Plus, it also makes it less awkward to have someone clicking away while you ask the big question if you already know the person. If you can’t get to the proposal location prior to the day, then we can schedule a Facetime or Zoom call.
Of course! As long as family members/friends are hidden and will not ruin the element of surprise, they are welcome to come. I am happy to photograph them as well after the proposal. Some proposal plans require family and friends to be present, so it is all based on your vision for the proposal.
My turnaround time is typically 1-2 weeks, depending on the season. I post sneak previews on social media within a few hours of the actual proposal.
