First Birthday Photos and Cake Smash for Miss V in Lynbrook Park
I love photographing one year olds for their first birthday pictures, especially when our photo shoot involves a cake smash. Although I have a studio space, in the warmer months, I always encourage clients to schedule the cake smash session at a beautiful outdoor location like this park in Lynbrook. Doing so allows for the most authentic and natural birthday captures as possible.
I spent a gorgeous September afternoon at the park with mom, her twin sister, and the absolutely gorgeous birthday girl, Miss V. Mom selected the most adorable outfits for Miss V, including a gorgeous bohemian style pineapple print dress. She also brought along a beautiful birthday banner that coordinated with the dress. The birthday girl was a pleasure to photograph and never cried...not even after two full outfit changes! My favorite part of the session was when we took her cake smash photos. Miss V loved the cake and had so much fun with it.
