Fall Equestrian Photo Session | Senior and Teen Photographer
It has been a very busy Fall for me. I had the pleasure of photographing many beautiful families and toddlers for their holiday photos. I had a great time with everyone and I really love the images that I captured, but I also was ready to capture something new and interesting. I was elated when a friend and former colleague of mine asked me to photograph her daughter at her riding academy.
Custom Senior and Teen Portrait Sessions
Even though I love working with newborns and toddlers, a huge part of me is still connected to my career as a high school teacher and I truly miss working with my students; so, whenever I work with teens, I feel like I get a small part of that life back. Plus, I love that you can really get creative with these types of sessions and customize them to match the client's personality.
Equestrian Portrait Session
We took these photos close to sunset at Miss A's riding academy in Central Islip. As soon as I pulled into the lot, I knew that I was going to love this session. The academy has beautiful rustic charm, is replete with horses and abounds with stunning foliage. Miss A wanted natural and timeless photos with a few of her favorite horses and to create a natural look, she decided to dress in both riding gear and casual attire. Miss A was a perfect model and as the session progressed, it became evident that she is beautiful, both inside and out; in fact, I was blown away by how mature and level headed this 15 year old girl is and I suspect that her mother's influence has something to do with that.
I had a great afternoon with these ladies and being amongst these truly magnificent animals. I absolutely love the way these captures came out. Here a re a few of my favorites from her session.
