I want to capture genuine and intimate moments with your loved ones and do so in a stress-free way. Your life is stressful, a photo session should not be. Spend an evening or afternoon with your family, unwind, have fun and let me photograph all of the beautiful chaos that unfolds.
My goal for a session is to capture your family’s essence and your love for one another. My sessions are laid back & fun! I try my best to make each and every one of you feel at ease and comfortable during the session. How do I do so? I crack a lot of bad jokes, I keep the session moving with activity and interaction, and ask you to play, hug and love each other. Of course, I will help direct, prompt & pose you in the most flattering light and angles, but you will not even realize I am doing so because you will be too busy having fun with your family.

Newborn Photography
There is nothing as special as those first moments home with your baby. As a mom, I know how fast the newborn phase goes by and I want to help you to remember those first moments. My newborn sessions take place right in the comfort of your own home. My goal is to capture the connection and bond that exists within your family. So, instead of photographing your baby in an endless array of props and outfits, I will capture you and your family interacting with your new bundle of joy.
Although your session will be family centered, I also make sure to include plenty of solo images of the baby. I bring along a prop of your choice for polished portraits of the baby. I also bring a full stock of swaddles, wraps, hats, headbands, and outfits from which you can choose for the session.
Family Photography
As a mom, I know how busy and chaotic life with kids can be and my goal is to help you to remember each and every moment. A family session is an opportunity to unwind and have some fun with your family in a beautiful and natural setting. My approach to photography is personal, candid, and light-hearted, and never uptight or rigid.
My ultimate goal for family photos is for everyone to have fun. I want the session to be stress-free and relaxed for parents. I will tell jokes, play games, and help you to unwind and relax so that I can capture emotive and connected images of you and your family. At the end of the session, you won’t even realize that you had photos taken. You will feel as if you just left a giant play date with your family and, hopefully, we will feel like old friends.
Milestone Portrait Photography

Portrait sessions include first birthdays, cake smashes, Communions, maternity photos, six-month sitter sessions, Sweet 16’s, graduation, pet photography, or to document any special milestone in life. These sessions can be scheduled in my Long Beach studio or at an outdoor location of your choice.

FAQs
How should I dress for the session?
The wardrobe is an essential part of having polished-looking portraits and I am here to help you with that. I provide wardrobe assistance for each session. This includes a wardrobe guide with the do’s and dont’s to styling your session. I also provide my clients with exclusive access to Style & Select, which is an online database run by photographers. You can shop for and coordinate your entire family’s wardrobe with ease through this site. I also have a client closet with dresses available on loan to moms. I am always available as a sounding board to provide input to help you finalize your choices.
Can I include other family members in my session?
All packages listed are for immediate family members only. If you wish to include extended family members, please contact me for the pricing. Your session will require extra session time and editing time, which is why there is an additional fee.
Can I have the unedited images at a reduced cost?
As these are not fully processed or artistically enhanced images, I do not release Raw and unedited images. The final gallery contains the best images from your collection.
Do I have to print through you?
You are not obligated to print through me, but I highly recommend using a reputable printer. I set the printing cost low to encourage clients to print through the professional lab. I can’t guarantee the quality of prints printed through an outside lab, as I am not calibrated nor affiliated with those labs. I also offer custom albums and print packages. Are you registered and insured?
Yes. I am a fully registered and insured company.
What if it rains?
I leave room in my calendar for the possibility of rain. If it rains, we will reschedule to the next available date. I do not reschedule due to cloudy weather. In fact, cloudy days provide perfect lighting for sessions.
Do you keep a permanent archive of my images?
Your gallery will remain active for 60 days and I archive images for 90 days as a courtesy. Please download and backup your images.
When will I get my photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 2 weeks after your session time. You can download your photos from the gallery. The gallery allows you to share with family and also provides you with access to professional printing services.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Mini sessions are offered during the Fall for the holidays and typically involve sets, props and most of my locations require permits and time limitations, thus limiting my flexibility.
These sessions are 15-20 minutes in length and are appointment-based. Multiple families are photographed each day. I make every effort to capture your child in the allotted time, but, for mini sessions, I am forced to work within the constraints of your appointment time.
Although I don’t offer mini sessions throughout the remainder of the year, I often run promotions for regular sessions that are posted through my newsletter and in my Facebook VIP group. Those spots tend to book up quickly. Message me if you would like to be added to either of those groups.
