 Faqs

  • The wardrobe is an essential part of having polished-looking portraits and I am here to help you with that. I provide wardrobe assistance for each session. This includes a wardrobe guide with the do’s and dont’s to styling your session. I also provide my clients with exclusive access to Style & Select, which is an online database run by photographers. You can shop for and coordinate your entire family’s wardrobe with ease through this site. I also have a client closet with dresses available on loan to moms. I am always available as a sounding board to provide input to help you finalize your choices.

  • I have children and I get this, but do not stress. My sessions are active and I use lots of prompts. I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to engage children. Just focus on staying in the moment and embracing the beauty of this stage in parenting. I promise you will love the images.

  • All packages listed are for immediate family members only. If you wish to include extended family members, please contact me for the pricing. Your session will require extra session time and editing time, which is why there is an additional fee.

  • As these are not fully processed or artistically enhanced images, I do not release Raw and unedited images. The final gallery contains the best images from your collection.

  • I hand edit each and very image form your gallery. I begin with color correction and then enhancement of light, sky and other details. I then edit every individual photo in Photoshop where I make further artistic enhancements and I also smooth skin, brighten eyes and remove stray hairs.

  • You are not obligated to print through me, but I highly recommend using a reputable printer. I set the printing cost low to encourage clients to print through the professional lab. I can’t guarantee the quality of prints printed through an outside lab, as I am not calibrated nor affiliated with those labs. I also offer custom albums and print packages. Just message me for more info.

  • I leave room in my calendar for the possibility of rain. If it rains, we will reschedule to the next available date. I do not reschedule due to cloudy weather. In fact, cloudy days provide perfect lighting for sessions.

  • You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 2 weeks after your session time. You can download your photos from the gallery. The gallery allows you to share with family and also provides you with access to professional printing services.

  • Mini sessions are offered during the Fall for the holidays and typically involve sets, props and most of my locations require permits and time limitations, thus limiting my flexibility.

    These sessions are 15-20 minutes in length and are appointment-based.  Multiple families are photographed each day.  I make every effort to capture your child in the allotted time, but, for mini sessions, I am forced to work within the constraints of your appointment time.

    Although I don’t offer mini sessions throughout the remainder of the year, I often run promotions for regular sessions that are posted through my newsletter . Those spots tend to book up quickly.  Message me if you would like to be added to either of those groups. 

  • Your gallery will remain active for 60 days and I archive images for 90 days as a courtesy. Please download and backup your images.

The process

Step 01

After booking, you complete a questionnaire that helps me to get to know your family and your goals for the session. Getting to know you and your family is what helps me to capture intimate and relaxed images.

Step 02

What you wear will impact the mood and vibe of your images. I help you to curate and plan your wardrobe. I have a client closet with women’s dresses available and I can send over a custom wardrobe board for your family. The wardrobe planning process takes some time, but it is all worth it in the end.

Step 03

Sessions are scheduled with at sunrise or one hour prior to sunset. We will meet at the location and have some fun for about an hour or so. Expect to laugh, cuddle, play and unwind. I will capture lots of memories for you and your family.

Step 04

I edit your gallery of images. This is where the magic begins. I carefully and artistically enhance each and every image in your gallery. This includes color correction, light enhancements, skin retouching, removal of stray hairs and more. I want your gallery to be a masterpiece and I take my time on the images. Editing a full gallery can take me anywhere from 12-16 hours.

Step 05

In 1-2 weeks, you receive your proofing gallery of edited images. You will choose your images and then they are delivered via full resolution download. At this time, you can add more images to your package if you wish. You are also able to share the gallery with friends and family.

PLANNING SERVICES &Wardrobe Services

Prior to your session, you fill out a questionnaire that helps me learn about your family and goals. I select a location best for your needs and vision. I also help you to curate and plan your wardrobe for your entire family. It starts with a custom wardrobe board and then I am with you every step of the way fine tuning the wardrobe with more specific links and suggestions until we get it right.

Access to My client Closet

I have a client closet with women’s dresses available to you. They come in a variety of sizes and have been selected because the colors, fit and fabrics photograph beautifully. I add to the closet throughout the year.

Session Time

I will meet with you at the selected location and we will be together for 30-90 minutes, depending on the type of session you choose.

Artistic editing & Enhancment

I take my time with the editing process because I believe your gallery should be a masterpiece. I hand edit each and every image in your gallery. I color correct, enhance light, smooth skin and include other artistic enhancements. I remove stray hairs, brighten eyes, clean blemishes and other corrections too.

Full Resolution Images

Your images are delivered in a private proofing gallery. You will select your images and then those selected images are delivered via high resolution download. You have the opportunity to upgrade to your full gallery and purchase prints and products if you wish. I deliver most galleries within two weeks, but more often within a week. Preview are posted within a few days of your session time.

Family Session Investment

Packages start at $325 for mini sessions. Clients invest on average between $550 and $800 depending on the package they choose.

As a mom, I know how busy and chaotic life with kids can be and my goal is to help you to remember each and every moment. A family session is an opportunity to unwind and have some fun with your family in a beautiful and natural setting. My approach to photography is personal, candid, and light-hearted, and never uptight or rigid. Your images will be packed with emotion and not rigid and posed.

There is nothing as special as those first moments home with your baby. As a mom, I know how fast the newborn phase goes by and I want to help you to remember those first moments. My newborn sessions take place right in the comfort of your own home. My goal is to capture the connection and bond that exists within your family. So, instead of photographing your baby in an endless array of props and outfits, I will capture you and your family interacting with your new bundle of joy.

Each and every moment deserves to be properly documented so that you can remember and treasure it for years to come. Portrait sessions include senior photos, first birthdays, cake smashes, communions, maternity photos, six-month sitter sessions, Sweet 16’s, graduation, pet photography, or to document any special milestone in life.
